My favorite lipstick

I shared in an earlier post how I started wearing lipstick during the day, even when I am just home with the kids all day. It makes me feel like I've done at least one thing for myself, and shows that even though I am a stay at home mom, I do make an effort to have a decent appearance!

To make things even simpler, I started buying the stay on lipstick. Covergirl Outlast is my favorite. There are often coupons in the Sunday paper, so you can get the stay on lipstick and lip gloss set for $5 or so. FYI if the link works above, the price is even better. They are running pretty low right now (I think there are 5 left).

I apply the lipstick after I brush my teeth and wash my face. It stays on all day, which means I don't have to rush to re-apply it if I'm going out, or when my husband gets home.

I am not saying that I need make-up. Or that you do. I think all women, especially stay at home moms, would like to feel beautiful every day. I don't have time to put make-up on every day, or fix my hair the way I would like to. I can't go out and get a pedicure or manicure. What I can do is put on lipstick. So, that's what I do.
